I need advice on how to uninstall Advir.

I accidentely downloaded it because it seemed like I had to to save my computer. What a mess. It keeps popping up and won’t let me into many programs. I ran my AdAware and it didn’t help. I have windows XP and obviously not real savy w/technical stuff.

What if you go to control panel go to add remove programs
look for Advir and click uninstall?
I had that problem before and the control panel thing helped.

I tried that, and its not listed in the install/delete programs menu…only on the start up venue, and when I click on uninstall, it just goes to the giant web page telling me i;m in danger… It’s a real virus.

Oh that happened to me.
It said viruses attacking act now. I clicked yes and it gave me a virus and I had to take it in to get it fixed.
