@Shield_of_Achilles : it’s definitely not easy and something we had to ease into. He did not have an overly hard time trusting me, it was him trusting himself. He was always so worried he would let me down or show me reason for punishment. He sees now that I’d much rather reward than punish and that I am a loving and gentle Domme. I’m more likely to get protective of him and show my “mean” side. It is, however, wonderful to watch him squirm <3

Try to find a BDSM social group in your area and find out if they hold “munches,” which are informal lunches or dinners where people just meet for grub. No sex or play takes place at a munch. And that’s often how they recruit new masters and slaves members. You’ll have to go a few times before they’re comfortable with you, and then you’ll start getting invited to private parties. That’s where the fun happens :-)

Failing that, try to find a BDSM nightclub. Paddles in NYC is affordable and pretty good, as is Eros Connection in Cleveland though they’re more a swingers club than a BDSM club though they have regular “BDSM parties.”

You could do a search in your area for Bondage Clubs then join there website. The Wife and I are members of a small, Local club in the Bay Area. Kind on Exclusive though…
