hedgies just need a cage thats at least 3 feet by 3 feet , u can buy food at petsmart it says hedgehog food on the can, a water bottle of course, a place to hide, aspen or pine shavings, and u can litter box train it by putting its poo into the litter box and if u play with it 30 minutes each day either the morning or at nite seeing there nocturnal but anytime is ok as long as u keep the time at least 4 hours apart so it can sleep and when u first get 1 he will probbaly be scared so i would suggest to were gloves if he is not tame because it HURTS badly if u try picking an untame 1 up they jump up to stab u. people that say not to were gloves are idiots u will have holes all over ur hand. after there tame there the best pets and they love u and might even do a thorough investigation threw ur shirt. hope i helped
