Have you ever felt like someone could read your mind?

Sometimes when I’m talking with somebody I get the feeling that they know exactly what I’m thinking. It doesn’t happen with all people I’m talking to but every once in awhile I’ll come across someone gives me the bizarre feeling.

Yes, but it’s a damned quick read.

My wife seems to know what I’m thinking before I do. I guess it’s a combination of ESP and prophesy.

No, because so far no one who has ever tried, has been right. I think many have taken a guess and been correct on a lucky whim, but that seldom happens.

Besides I am a skeptic, I don’t believe humans can read other peoples minds.

when that happens to me i just think ’‘hey asshole, did you know i did your mother last night? oh what? you did not know i was aware that you can read my mind? well i am aware, im on to you!”

either that or “scramble the message, fish and chips 7 minus 3 = not 99, black, green, red, purple, lets go stab a cat”

No, but I’ve had that eerie feeling you speak of. Its not that they can read your mind but rather that they seem to have an uncanny way of reading through you. Some people are just excellent at ready other people. There are times I’ve made people uncomfortable because I can see through the false wall they put up. Many times its because I can see them for the scum they are. I’ve met a lot of oil salesmans or oil saleswoman and I know when there is one in a room.

Only if I want them to when I blow a gasket and make sure they know plain and clear I am very unhappy without saying one word. It’s magic!

I have a friend who has great powers of insight which sometimes results in his knowing what I am thinking, I believe that is quite different to having my mind read though.

A good portion of reading into peoples thoughts is to watch their manners like a nervous twitch or no eye contact…Another way is the pitch of their voice changes. After observing the normal characteristic of a person you tend to pick up on the weird behaviors they start to do like when they are not being honest they look away quickly then reconnect with the eyes.

As for reading your mind…I wouldn’t call it mind reading either as stated above. I think the information (not the exact words in your head) is sent from “god” and your gut leads or the energy syncs you in the right direction. This may seems like an uncomfortable feeling, but I believe “god” has created humans as complex creatures that is beyond the human capabilities to understand. I feel on a deeper level we are all communicating on a sub-conscious level which some people are more aware of then others. We all have the abilities to be more in tune, but it’s up to us to obtain or listen to obsorb the information.

To be honest most of the intuition I get is random like when I talk to someone I can sense a family member in trouble or like a vision of grandparent hospital so I’ll ask how are they doing instead of saying I think your grandmother is sick. This typically leads to a conversation about it or a few days later they come to me and say something happened. If it is information that someone is holding tight inside the secret chamber, it is usually clear they don’t want to talk about it so I usually don’t mention it to them.

Well, I’m pretty sure that due to a strange accident, I have Lord of the Flies printed on my cranium. As to thought reading, you should be able to tell.

Indeed. I love that feeling :)

No, just the other way around.

My wife and I know each other so well that we often know what the other is thinking. Is it mind reading? Probably not. We have a shared history and we are sensitive to each other’s feelings. We know what is important to the other in most situations and on most topics.

I have no evidence that any psychic phenomena are involved. I just asked my wife your question and her answers matches mine.

I have to work hard at not finishing her sentences for her. It’s rude!
