I want to get an HDPVR (high definition personal video recorder) but the cheapest I can find is $170 which is a little steep. Is there a similar device (component or HDMI, and yes I know HDMI would be $1000+ but just in case) for cheaper? I can’t use a capture card, as I only have a laptop, so it has to be seperate device. The intended use is for an xbox 360.
