Anyone know of a software for webcams (Win) that captures both webcam and desktop?
I have not tried either of these, but…
1) Skype has screen sharing http://www.skype.com/allfeatures/screensharing/
2) Microsoft SharedView integrates with Windows Live Messenger.
“Microsoft SharedView is a fast, easy way to share documents and screen views with small groups of friends or coworkers” http://connect.microsoft.com/content/content.aspx?ContentID=6415&SiteID=94

I was hoping for some kind of software that could be used as webcam output for live streaming services such as Bambuser and Ustream
Broadcasting to multiple users, then. Not one-to-one. Is that right?
I was thinking a software that could both broadcast my desktop and my webcam at the same time – screencast and webcast, so to speak. Like desktop in a big window and a little window of me in webcam.
I was hoping someone would chime in with a better answer, but I guess not, so FWIW…
Ustream suggests WebCamMax for using multiple cameras in one stream. http://helpcenter.ustream.tv/content/can-i-use-multiple-cameras-one-computerstream
WebCamMax has Picture in Picture and “Share your video clips or desktop screen”, so perhaps those can be combined. http://www.webcammax.com/
Found Camtasia Studio and Jing Pro – two paid softwarez that do what I need. Thanks all!
