When people around you don't have faith in your idea. From where you get motivation to just do it anyway?

I have a great idea I wanna do it. It is a new businnes that can work very great if I give all my talent to it, but I hear too much people think I can not do it.

They want me to do somthing diffrenet. It’s hard. I know one day it will be a big success, just need to keep on going with it. This is on my mind all day long, something I can’t let go and forget about it. Like there is a big force inside of me that is about to explode.

It is very hard to be the only one who think it may work, no one is going to help me with this issue. I’m on my own. I do read a lot of books about motivation and entrepreneurship, but I think it isn’t enough…

“they dont know what they are talking about, dismissive defeatist fools, i guess ill have to show them that the idea is viable” thats kind of the thought process.

EDIT:

if the reason they dont have faith in your idea is because “it just wont work” ignore it.

if the reason they dont have faith in your idea is because “reason x and reason y” and you can give good rational responses to concerns x and y ignore it.

if the reason they dont have faith in your idea is because “reason x and reason y” and you are having a hard time defending your idea against x and y, then you should probably listen because x and y could turn out to mess your entire idea/life up.

If it feels right to you, then go for it. There could be a million and one reasons as to why other people will urge you not to go for it, but if you believe in something, then that’s all that matters.

I do not rely on other people’s ‘faith’ in my ideas. If they like them and support them, great. If not, fine, could care less. They are entitled to their opinion of something as am I.

That being said, I might, if their judgment is put forth reasonably, stop for a moment and consider why they don’t have faith, but odds are it isn’t going to make a difference if I feel that strongly.

Sheer irritated stubbornness. My father now owns about 300 acres of virgin forest almost tax-free in inland Florida because for 20 years he fought eminent domain developers and loggers because his favorite fishing hole was there; I take after him. I have spent the last 20 years of my life killing off my ability to “feel” things, so if by some chance I have an idea that gets me excited I’m pretty much going to go through with it no matter what ;-)

Can’t have faith in something all on your own for long, it’s too demanding. If you start to do something well, though, people should be able to notice and start seeing the potential in it.

Just do it. It’s your life, you get to decide what makes you happy. It does suck when you want to try something and everyone gives you all these reasons why it won’t work. For every one of those, find a reason why it will work. Do the research and it will give you the confidence and motivation to keep going. It’s like planning a really great trip somewhere and it makes you feel better. Good luck!

I gave up relying on other people for approval a long time ago. It just never worked out for me. I do what I want and succeed or fail all by myself, if necessary.

If the only motivation of an inventor or entrepreneur was the desire to impress or spite others one could consider them to be cursed, and perhaps even doomed to failure.

I would suggest that your motivation primarily derive from the reason you originally had to pursue this work, the sense of achievement attained from transforming your ideas into reality, and what this may mean for yourself, your loved ones and/or society. Other sources of inspiration are generally a healthy addition but do not permit them too much control over your thoughts lest you sway away from your original goals.
