The eternal question, second only to “What happens after death?”
Does she look at you a lot or seek to talk to you frequently? Really, the best way is to just engage her in conversation and circle around telling questions like, “Do you like someone?” and try to engage her in a game of guessing who it is. Her responses and actions will be telling.
Laughs at everything you say. Touches you in subtle ways (hand on the shoulder, etc.). Lights up when she sees you, but acts bashful if she’s around her friends when you see her. Compliments you.
Those are just a few.
I told this girl i like that i like her and she told me that she doesnt like me. But everytime we walk home together or when she laughs around me she touches me on the shoulder. Once when i saw her, i pretended not to take notice of her and played with my phone and she told me that she misses me. Today, i stayed back after exams and said to her friends and to her indirectly that i needed to wait for someone to pay for a book. She saw the someone and he told me that she made sure he knew that i was looking for him. I think that she likes me but i cant understand why she doesnt want to be close to me…or maybe im just reading her wrong. Can someone help me on this? I think it will help PauloD15 too.
@cornbird: Some girls are just affectionate. I play with my friends hair, I touch them, I hug them and I smile wide and run at them when I see them. I love my friends, it doesn’t mean I’m headed towards being in love or that I see it as an option. Just that I love them, and am ecstatic to get to spend one more minute with the people who are important to me.
If you ask her to prom, a movie, hang out at the mall, to supper, coffe, or just hang out (insert something that would be fun to do with someone else here).
An answer ‘yes’ to any of the above questions is perhaps a hint, these all seem rather direct but shyness never has a girlfriend.
