@Facade I know what it feels like to not like doctors. I went years without seeing one, for two reasons. One, because I was scared (I felt fine, so why go), and two, I didn’t have insurance. In 2007, I had symptoms that forced me to see a doctor, but I could have saved myself a lot of pain and fear by going sooner….but I digress…
If you feel that your hormones are out of balance, there are supplements (available over the counter at the health food store), that may help you. However they will not replace the hormones in your body, they can just naturally help your body make and use the ones that are already there.
Soy is good for estrogen function, Kelp is good for thyroid function, Wild Yam is good for Progesterone function.
I am not a doctor, and I am not aware of your age or medical history, but there is a lot of good information on line about how to naturally balance your hormones.
Also, Dr. Christiane Northrup’s website provided me with a lot of good information when I was experiencing PMDD.
All the best to you.
