My mother is 92. she is alert and well. i think i received my laughing trait from my mother. she stills laughs all the time and still possesses her great personality. i am blessed.
Funny you should ask and I would say yes! Just look at all the healthy vibrant seniors you run into and they are all laughing at everything! A good sense of humor is like a bullet proof vest for all the BS you run into on a daily basis.
I hope so. Life is one hell of a lot nicer with humor in it. And let’s face it, in today’s day and age of bad economies, the war on terror, and a host of other dilemmas hitting us each day from different directions, we need much more laughter and smiles in the world.
Some people are easily amused and laugh hysterically at things that are not really very funny. Others don’t laugh at all but can still be amused. I’m not sure the actual act of laughing itself equals happiness and expect the term stems from the belief that a happy person will live longer.
