Can I get more options in a OS X file open/upload box?

This is about Leopard… maybe it’s better on Snow Leopard?

When I open a file (or use the browse option on the browser to select a file to upload) I don’t have the option to right-click and get info; I can’t get a size column; I can’t search for filename only (it digs inside unnecessarily); and further annoyances.

Do you happen to know of any way to get the same freedom as a regular Finder window?

Thanks

There’s not much you can do. You can however, browse for the file you need in Finder and drag it to the upload box.

@justn thanks! That does the trick pretty well…
