This is so hard to answer. My teenage years were spent in the 80s, so many songs remind me of different experiences that I had growing up. Two of my favorites though are The Ghost In You by The Psychedelic Furs and Charlotte Sometimes by The Cure.
Good god, would be hear all night thinking of a favourite.Off the top of my head first one that springs to mind would be Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears.
@mrentropy – I saw Martha Davis at B.B. King’s in Times Square last summer. She’s still got that voice, and all her backup guys were young (and very, very hot).
