You’ll just have to watch their behaviour, because males and females look the same.
Just by what you’ve said, a pair visiting you every day, I’d guess they are mates – one male, one female (usually!). But then, I’m not especially well-versed in lorikeet behaviour. Maybe you’ll get lucky and see one mounting the other? (But then, that’s not always a guarantee either! If I were you I’d start reading up on lorikeets – through observation and study, I bet you’ll be able to discern who’s who!
