Traditionally 100% carnauba paste. Most probably Meguiar’s. Possibly Turtle. (Here in the U.S.) Costs only like $13 a can and they last forever. (It just takes 1.25 hours to wash and wax your car though.) If you want the best “warm look”, as they say, use carnuba. There are a lot of esoteric brands as well that cost more, with mixed results.
As I see it, the new synthetic liquid stuff only lasts 3/5 as long on the car, 2/5 as long in the can, but takes maybe only ¼ the effort to apply, So it’s a tradeoff. It’s not a great look, it’s a good look. It is VERY quick and easy to apply though.
I guess there are some synthetics that last longer than carnauba – I just can’t vouch for any of them.
I use this on the motos, and Meguiar’s paste on the sportscar maybe every 6 weeks, and only maybe twice a year on the truck.
