Im not sure what everyone else thinks, but from my own experiences, drinking plenty of water seems to reduce the pressure i feel at the back of my throat. And then you’ve got your standard over the counter meds you could take like lozenges but in all honesty, they always seem to work well at making your tongue numb but not necessarily your throat
