Buzzed with the clippers

Looks like a military cut to me.

Not that I really care, but it’s called a Fade.

A Buzz cut is usually fairly uniformly short all over like what some parents do with giving their kids summer cuts at home.

A Fade requires more skill since it tapers gradually from bottom to top.

Years ago, Kid N Play (a rap duo) featured the “High Top Fade” very prominently in a movie and it became really popular among black kids.

This is a variation of that since it’s obviously not that high. I’m sure you can find examples on YT of variations of The Fade.

Since it takes a bit of skill (especially on dark hair) it’s really not a DIY project.

And nothing looks worse than a badly done fade where there really isn’t much taper to speak of. Blech…
