Has anyone tried the Babylon translator software?

“Great Question” (1points)

If so, what do you think of it?
I just got it [lifetime license, bundled with Concise OED] and it is fun to play with and helpful for understanding the odd word or phrase and for reading foreign webpages. I worry though that using it to communicate in foreign languages may have me sounding illiterate like the Google translator and Babelfish does. [A fun game with those programs is to translate something into English from another language and translate it back and back into English and watch it degrade with each translation]

Yes! I think the Babylon translator is AWESOME!
It’s the best translating software I ever used. Did you program it to translate the word you are corrently reading by pressing the middle-key of the mouse on it yet? that is so helpful…
I find it quite good for communicating in foreign languages, much better than google translator. You probably won’t ever sound as good as a native speaker, cause you’re not… Somethings we juat have to live with…
