Absolutely!
One can always find the positives, silver linings in any situation.
I have been housebound this week after a severe allergy/asthma attack from yardwork overload last week.
While it’s been frusterating of course, the positives are, I have saved money in gas and random recreation, I have caught up on all my household stuff, I am lucky that this hit came on a down week before a big job that I have on the books for the end of next week.
I have been able to watch some movies I have been wanting too, hang out more with my cats, and, inspite of feeling pretty damn crappy, am focused on these positives.
Even the darkest of tragedies has it’s silver lining, losing a loved one often leads one into a deepend state of compassion.
I have always admired John Walsh father of Adam Walsh the little boy murdered back in the late 70’s/early 80’s, that started ‘Americas most wanted ’ TV program.
A perfect example of turning ones sorrow into benefit for the greater good. :-)
