Would it be practical to get just one dreadlock?

If I put one small one behind my ear will the surrounding hair try to lock up with it? Is it worth it to try to maintain one dread?

Why don’t you just get dreadlocks – a single dreadlock doesn’t look all that good next to ‘normal’ hair, imo.

I had a tangle that turned into an unintentional dreadlock. I had to cut it out of my hair.

Go big or go home, as some say. You’ll be happier.

A friend of mine in high school had two little dreads on top of her head. She grew those things out for years. They looked great.

I think two or four look really cute clamped down with a barret on top of your head. But you may mean one hanging down in your eye like Michael Jackson . Or was that just straggly hair? Know what? I think I’m…yea; I’m confusing those with BRAIDS. I love braids.
