Rarely, but often enough to need to remember how to do it.
Also, given the way people are here, the only way to parallel park is to have a fairly short car with a tight turn radius. I have parked my ‘85 Corolla (nearly a foot shorter than current models with a turn circle about 6 feet tighter) with less than six inches on either end at least half of those times, and have gotten to where I can do it with a 5-point turn instead of a long-ass time spent back and forth and back and forth and…. once you get the rear end in, it’s easy to crabwalk the front in, but there is no way to make it in one shot without turning the front wheels far enough to snap the CV joints.
It really annoys people when I take spaces that they couldn’t even fit in if they were shoved into sideways :)
