“Great Question” (2points)

I saw it on yahoo news and they are losing 140,000 gallons a day, saying ours is worse, only because it has lasted longer. they want it cleaned up and plugged immediately, but you know that wont happen.

It could go into international waters.

What can we- should we, do?

I haven’t heard about it and I’m getting ready to leave for the day, so I don’t know anything about it. If it’s similar to what we have here, I think we should share all of the information we have so far with them.

We could offer help. Other than that, I’m sure the Chinese have no more interest in seeing their shores fouled than we have of seeing ours fouled.

There are oil spills that happen about every year. This year so far we have had about 10 around the world (according to wiki). It just seems most only become concerned if its a oil spill caused by the US, or maybe if its extremely large.

Here is a good list of oil spills to get an idea: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_oil_spills
