“Great Question” (3points)

I got silly putty on my cotton jammie pants yesterday. I’ve already tried freezing it, but it’s still just as flexible.

I would try freezing the item,scraping it off,then bouncing it on into the washer.Good luck ;)

@lucillelucillelucille I put the pants in the freezer, but it’s still flexible and hard to scrape off, it’s just cold now.

The clothes might be ruined unless there is some kind of solvent that will take it out.I am not sure what to use.Maybe write to the manufacturer?how could I not see the rest of your question?? I need cofffffeeeeeeeeeeee;)

Try denatured rubbing alcohol.

Here is a link that might be helpful. Note that there are some tips and warnings at the bottom of the page. Good luck!

If all else fails, cut the blob out and sew a nice, little heart-shaped patch over the hole.

@gailcalled You’re brilliant!

@Pied_Pfeffer, No, just a former quilt maker. You can patch or appliqué on most fabrics, but cotton is easy. If you are creative enough, you can make the repair look deliberate and special.

Goo Gone or Goof Off both work well

If you try the 99% (denatured) isopropyl alcohol, be very careful. It is highly flammable.

@UScitizen Yeah, but… I’m not having open flames while doing it. At least 50% of my bathroom products are highly flammable.
