Facebook keeps me in touch with friends and family all over the world (the other week I was chatting to a friend 9 hours ahead in Australia, and my uncle, 7 hours behind in Canada, popped up for a chat too!!) so I love it for that, BUT I do find that it no longer fills my time like it used to…
We survived without it in the past, and we’ll continue to do so if it crashes. I’m not addicted to it or anything, but it’s a convenient way to find friends and keep in touch with overseas friends and family, (and a quick way of sharing photos – i hate e-mailing a ton of photos). :)
I don’t necessarily think so. I certainly don’t use it as much as I used to when I was younger (where I updated my status every day and posted photos all the time). Most of my friends have moved away from that as well, but we all seem to still use it somewhat regularly. I don’t see it going away.
I do not trust Facebook. hackers have a way of taking your basic information and stealing your identity. its called cross-referencing. its unsafe for your pocketbook.
