It seems like some people wanted a mapping feature so I started working on one. It is very sloppy and not even close to being complete. But it kinda works.

Google completely changed the mapping API since the last time I used it so I pretty much am relearning it from scratch.

A lot will change in the next few days. First on the list is a list of names where you click on the name and the map will center on their pin.

Send me a pm with your location (lat and long preferred) and I will add you.

edit :: A link to the map would probably a good thing to add.

A few changes made this afternoon. I added info windows. People with green pins have entered data. If you click on the green pins a little window will pop up with additional info. If anybody wants me to add info just send me a pm and I will add it. I can add avatars too. Or any picture will do. Just keep them smallish.

I redid things this afternoon. Now the data is stored in a google docs spreadsheet. If anyone wants to add themselves or add a comment they can here. It is pretty obvious how to do it. I will leave it open until someone screws it up.

And now there is a list of names on the right. If you click a name it will take you to their pin and open their info window.

@johnpowell Ryan, please: You stuck me above Egypt, and it doesn’t say Israel. I know it’s tiny (size of NJ) but since there is no-one ese in my immediate (5000 mile) vicinity – maybe you could like pencil in ISRAEL – add IS REAL if you’d like.
