A search through a website that catalogs all apps, shows 1,000 app’s when searching for the term, ‘Twitter’. I scanned through a lot of them & with the exception of a some duplicates (free version & paid version) & the occasional misplaced app – to say there is at least 900, wouldn’t be too bad of a guess.
