“Great Question” (0points)

Have any of you seen any scandinavian films like Dead Snow, Max Manus(film), Let the Right One In(film) or Flame & Citron? What did you think of them?

I have seen “Let The Right One In”.

I fell in love, and rushed out the next morning to buy the book – which I sat down to read and didn’t stand up again until I had finished it.

Excellent, excellent film. I am definitely interested in seeing more from that region. The sooner the better.

I saw Dead Snow. I liked it. It was very interesting and the gore was great.
Another Scandinavian film I saw was Bergman’s The Seventh Seal. It is perhaps one of the best films ever made.

There’s a great film called My Life as a Dog (Mitt liv som hund is the Swedish name)...maybe the best film made? Also wonderful is Together (Tillsammans is the Swedish name) Lilya 4 Ever is disturbing but beautiful. Any film by Bergman would be wonderful. Seventh Seal is a classic; also The Virgin Spring – fabulous. They tend to be dark,so be prepared!

I own both Dead Snow and Let the Right One In.
I love Dead Snow. It’s slow to start, but that weird old man who bashes the chick’s coffee is more than worth it lol. The ending was also pretty cool too.

Henning Mankell is quite popular in Germany. My wife loves his films.
