What was Corporate America like before e-mail?
It seems like now days most peoples job is pretty much checking their e-mail. It’s like the main line of communication; I think sometimes the phone would even come second.
I guess my question is, what was it like back in the day before everyone had an e-mail account to send and receive information? Were corporate jobs less hectic due to not as many e-mails come through with menial tasks that need to get done from the boss? Or rather than getting a less intrusive e-mail, you would get calls all day long?
