What's the difference between Nationalism and Patriotism?

Nationalism is devotion to your country no matter what it does.

Patriotism is admiration for your country, but disagreeing with what it does that you find disagreeable.

boots covered the basic difference. I checked the definitions on Oxford English Dictionary’s website:

“nationalism, n. 1.a. Advocacy of or support for the interests of one’s own nation, esp. to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations. Also: advocacy of or support for national independence or self-determination.

patriotism, n. The quality of being patriotic; love of or devotion to one’s country.”

When its about your country, you call it patriotism.
When it is about some country your country distrusts, you call it nationalism!
