The songs are fine and the first cd plays without any static.

But the rest of my cds have this awful static and crackling sound when the song plays.

I use Windows Media Player and click on “audio cd.” I have no idea of the burn speed. Does that make a difference?

Anyone know what’s up with this and how I can fix this?
