I have been trying match, eharmony and chemistry for the last month now. I have a 3 month plan with each. Ironically I met someone in person (not online) just recently but we are not serious yet. What I can tell you is if you are a guy I would steer clear of match, do not expect any woman to email or wink you first on this site, on top of that only expect 1 response for every 50 you send out. Chemistry is dead, nothing happening there and you are extremely limited with the navigation on that site. I have been having success with eharmony, I have received several emails from women first on here, several winks and the messages I have sent out I get a half decent amount of replies back. I am not saying you will have the same results I had with each site so that is up to you to decide. I am new to online dating sites myself but I figured (since I have the money) that I would try all 3 of these sites just for the heck of it (and to increase my odds).
I would go with eharmony, at least from my experience. I am at the emailing stage with 2 women right now. It is a lengthy process and not easy. I would answer the long questionaire truthfully so you get the best matches. I am somewhat skeptical of their “29 dimensions” testing method but I had more luck here so far. I heard bad things about some of the free sites like Plenty of Fish. I do not know about any other dating sites. Online dating isn’t easy either. Ironically I just asked this same question a little over a month ago. I didn’t get any responses so I tried all 3 of the big ones.
