I loved when Leonard Mlodinow slipped and said…. “some spooky other thing..” whilst he and his co author were refusing to discose what their views on religion might be.
He also stated that they were not trying to suggest that there is no God, but that a God is not necessary according to scientific principles. Of course they had no explanation for what happened before the “Big Bang”. So I was not clear about how they felt that some sort of causation factor might be “necessary”.
My other favorite part was the quote which Depak Chopra offered at the end of the interview, which he took from Sir Arthur Eddington…
“Something unknown is doing we don’t know what.”
For me this pretty much sums it up.
