“Great Question” (0points)

I like this sort of music.

I’m looking for 10 must have songs. The cream of the crop I rise from the top. I never eat a pig ‘cause a pig is a cop songs.

I’m tired of what I have on there. Plus, my girlfriend and I plan on driving to Toronto, Saturday and I need some new mu-saque.

Quite an eclectic mishmush of music you got there. I’ll give you ten songs that I like (in no particular order), and maybe something on there will satiate your hunger.

Run of the Mill by George Harrison
Box of Rain by The Grateful Dead
Ooh La La by The Faces
Jokerman by Bob Dylan
So Divine by The Rolling Stones
Positive Vibration by Bob Marley
Whammer Jammer by The J. Geils Band
Trampled Under Foot by Led Zeppelin
Coming Up by Paul McCartney
Dig A Pony by The Beatles

Just to let you all know, every single one is going on. I like ‘em all.

Also try Spirit on the Water by Bob Dylan – a nice, lovely mellow song

@janbb The only “Jesse” that I could find was done by Joan Baez and Janis Ian (apparently). I am listening to it now ( beginning) and I can recognize Joan.

@Mama_Cakesjust FYI, Stars are totally from Toronto, and that song helped during my evacuation from New Orleans.

@buckyboy28 I think that I love you!

@iamthemob I like it. :)

That may be it although I have it only by Janis; Joan may have covered it. Does it start out “Jesse come home?” I cry whenever I hear it – makes me think of my brother who died.

“Jesse come home, there’s a hole in the bed where you slept…”

You should listen to Cee-Lo Green‘s solo stuff. He’s amazing. He is The Soul Machine.

I think you’d dig Throwing Muses and Tanya Donelly.

Arto Lindsay / Ambitious Lovers and the whole phenomenon of NYC’s No Wave scene is interesting.

I’ve also got the Chaz Jankel radio station on my Last.fm, which plays a lot of underground, super-minimalist, Eurodance music from the last 30 years, not just his stuff.

I also like Sufjan Stevens. Heeheehee! SOOF-yahn.

That picture Last.fm uses of John Lennon (I saw it in your library)! Gaaaah! I love that one! Floppy hair and glasses! Squeeee!

@Mama_Cakes yeah – that’s it.

San Francisco by Brett Dennen
Baby’s Got Sauce by G. Love and Special Sauce
Mistaken For Strangers by The National
Fever Dream by Iron and Wine (One of my favorites! It gets me like no other song can)
White Winter Hymnal by Fleet Foxes
Falling Out Of Love by Aqualung
Break The Same by Mute Math
Two Weeks by Grizzly Bear
Gap by The Kooks
C’mere by Interpol

Try those! If you wan’t more I got’em! Hope you like some of those.
