Does anyone know the name of this cake please?
I’m adding recipes to my recipe book and wrote down a recipe on a piece of paper without writing down the cake’s name!
Eh, silly question i know, but i have to have the proper name. :)
It’s a white/vanilla cake, and when it’s done baking, you pour the following concoction over it and let it soak: milk, condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream, sugar and vanilla.
I did do a quick google search, but i’m not finding it.

You don’t cook the milk concoction at all?
Tres leches (three milks) cake.
A double helping of tres leches—that makes it seis leches—sounds wonderful to me!!
@janbb Nope, not at all! :)
@marinelife YES! That sounds right, thanx a lot! :)
@picante – i know! I can’t wait to try it. :D Edit: Oh, i saw you mentioned it first, thanx to you too! :)

That cake is delicious. My sister made it before, but I cannot remember the name of it.
@Aster Huh?? Is that what they call it in your part of the world? Hehe….
well, yes. There is a kind of cake where you dump everything in the pan then bake it. Probably not the right answer for this one, though.
We make a cake in Norway similar and call it ‘Bløtkake’ which means ‘wet cake’...
But I’d go with the ‘Three milks Cake’.. especially in French. Sounds much better.
