Yes?

Uploaded some photos to a Wordpress.com blog for someone else, and now that I’ve done it, can I delete the photos they’ve sent me from my PC?

Thanks.

Yes, the photos will remain on the blog. When uploading any file to the web, essentially you are sending a copy of it.

Thanks!

I hate having my hard drives cluttered.

If you are sure they are of no importance to you. I would never delete any photos that matter to me in case—oh anything—the site goes down, the company goes out of business—the—you lose your internet connection. I archive everything I value on CDs

They were pictures for someone else’s blog and weren’t of anything important to me, so it’s all good.

Thanks, you guys!

@anartist i would have to agree because you can’t always trust the hosting companies/sites. If you don’t care about the possibility of losing it and you really need the space then go ahead but jpegs are quite small so it really wont make a difference on your hard drive. Unless you’re using super high resolution pictures i doubt your jpeg’s can take up more than 1mb each if they can even reach that point.
