@Russell_D_SpacePoet are you referring to the “sting” by that one kid and his buddies, where he pretended to be a pimp and got loans? That guy turned out to be a total fraud. He made it look like he went there in pimp clothes and it turns out he was in nice suits, he cut out parts and didn’t show cuts all together where ACORN officials kicked him out and told him what he wanted to do was illegal and they were calling the police.
He talked at length with one guy in California about smuggling in “sex slaves” and the guy got all this info about where they’d be coming from and where he wanted them and as many details as he could. The video actually looks pretty bad, looks like he’s actively going to help the guy smuggled sex slaves into the US. The part they don’t show you is how immediately after he left the ACORN guy called the police and gave them all of the details he had meticulously asked for. That poor guy lost his job for his trouble.
The voter fraud was where people were signing up Mickey Mouse and Jimmy Johns to vote in the 2008 election. Well those were self reported by ACORN. What it was is they had paid people to sign up people to vote, and paid them commission (per x people they signed up). So to boost their numbers some people made up voters and filled out the slips. Once they’re in the system though, ACORN BY LAW had to submit them, even knowing they were fraudulent. They would later be tagged and pulled out during processing, but they weren’t allowed to take them out. For self reporting people who abused their system and taking all the right steps to insure it didn’t actually effect the vote, the right accused them of winning the election for Obama (even though all of the cases we heard about were in Chicago Illinois, a City and state Obama won handily).
