Ummm, Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii are already out…. They were announced about a year ago….
I’m hoping for Animal Crossing and Zelda. It looks like they’ve left Donkey Kong’s prime years behind them, as much as I hate it. I loved Donkey Kong 64, but I haven’t really liked any of them since then. Besides that, Zelda and Animal Crossing are the only two major franchises (I can think of) that haven’t made it to Wii. Animal Crossing is already official, and they’ve already mentioned ideas that they’re thinking about. So that’s coming, it’s just a matter of when. If they announce it this year, we’ll probably see it late this year or spring 2009. I know many of you are thinking “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess” is a Wii game, but you’re wrong. “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess” was a Gamecube game, that got ported to the Wii to give it a major launch title. I don’t like how long Twilight Princess was delayed, but it was well worth it. I hope to just see a little teaser trailer for a new Zelda game. Remember that very first trailer we ever got for Twilight Princess? It was incredible. I watched it so many times. My biggest request of the Zelda franchise is a remake of Ocarina of Time, and I’m not talking about Master Quest. I think they need to remake it with everything the same, except much better graphics, and orchestrated music. Same music, just orchestrated. Remember hearing Ocarina of Time songs in Brawl? They were the same song, but they sounded incredible. That’s what I’m hoping for, but I doubt I’ll get it. Nintendo’s answer would probably be something like “Well the Virtual Console has Ocarina of Time on it and it’s a little better than the N64.”......
Sorry for the length.
