No. The wedding can be his to if he chooses to participate in the planning. The last wedding I went to had a fantastic grooms cake, rectangular, icing design was a runway with blue lights at the end and everything. He had just finished becoming a pilot in the Airforce. He had just as much friends and family there as the bride. I think everyone there was focused on the couple, not just the bride.
