Just popping in briefly…..still trying to catch up on paperwork (not get catsup on paperwork, as my friend jp may likely do, very shortly).
See ya…..Gary/wtf
I wanted to camp this summer. But the weather here has been absolute shit. It is 90 and sunny and the next day it is cold and raining. I think they said on the news it was the wettest summer in Portland that has been recorded. We didn’t have a summer.
It is proof of global cooling. Wait, what, that is stupid. Global climate change bitches!
I’m passing through on my way to breakfast (does anyone else wake up and check Fluther first thing in the morning?) Today feels like a reading day so I’ll be drifting between posting here and trying to make a dent in all the books I have around me.
I’m here, fresh from my first visit ever to Sonic, where I enjoyed a caramel java chiller. Mmmm mmm mmm! I was a little disappointed that the Sonic car hops didn’t have to navigate an obstacle course while delivering food on their roller skates. Some flaming hoops would have been a nice touch.
And right now I’m sitting here in shock at the idea that @johnpowell is going to eat 110 grams of fat today due to Buck Doubles alone. This nutrition-fact checking is becoming borderline obsessive.
@Seek_Kolinahr :: I only ate two of them yesterday. I will probably finish them off today. I’m 6’ and a 140 pounds. The beer will kill me before the fat does.
Taking a break from browsing Lego pictures on Flickr with my 5 year old…if he thinks I am going to help him recreate the Hoth invasion he is out of his mind!
I’m here again as most days, but I’m here earlier because I got sent home from work yesterday with a VERY swollen ankle, as I stupidly fell over a table!
I miss you too! Soon, though. Soon all our money troubles should be fixed and I should have internet again. At the very least, I should have enough saved up to buy a laptop or at least a netbook, and be able to get online at the park/coffee shop/whatever.
How about the Aussie members of Fluther, are you all safe and sound? We are still dry but ¾ of Queensland is underwater. Seems as if there was a jelly from Brisbane, wasn’t there???
Hope you all are safe.
@augustlan – I’m fine, thanks :-) The fire started in another apartment (I own a small apartment building). The firemen caused more damage than the frigging fire…
