But I think reality is simultaneously both more and less than his quote suggests. Reality transcends the individual, which isn’t evident in his quote, yet it is bent and shaped by human experience, which he also doesn’t allude to. Consensus shapes reality, rather we like it or not. If everyone agrees the bush era was wonderful, for instance, that becomes the reality, like it or not.
