What kind of configuration is Gmail?

Let me correct that: It uses POP3, but can be set up to receive mail from IMAP email servers.

I’ve reset email before, but this is different. Don’t know where to find the info in his account.

I would look for detailed instructions for that kind of phone. Android and iPhone will be pretty easy. Blackberry is very different. I don’t know about others.
