Is there any websites that can teach me how to play golf?

Asked by simone54 (7642points) June 22nd, 2008

Tiger has inspired me. I never watched golf before last week. I live San Diego so the US Open at Torrey Pines was huge deal. I went to Play-off on Monday. It was pretty amazing thing be at. Now I wanna play myself, it’s a real awesome sport.

What about a website to teach you some grammar? I’m sorry, I couldn’t resist. As for your actual question, I would recommend you just get some lessons, especially for a difficult sport such as golf. I speak from experience inexperience when I say that it looks a lot easier than it is, which is why getting a professional to help you grasp the basics would be a very wise move.

A wise persoon once wrote something like this, “Golf is a beautiful walk in the country spoiled by a little white ball”. Good luck

Get yourself lessons, its the best investment you’ll make in learning how to play this fun sport. There’s a lot to learn and understand in the fundamentals of the golf swing, and its something you can’t really get a complete understanding of by reading a book or viewing a website. I take lessons from Golf-Tec and they have locations nationwide. It’s really helped improve my game and play well.

Good Luck!
