When I first joined Fluther, I logged in and remained logged in. Now if I leave for only a second, I have to log in all over again. Today I logged in after using the link from an answer to one of my questions - I logged in over ten times today. What am I doing wrong?

This is getting to be exhausting. I love this place but I can’t be hooked up 24/7. I have a life. Every time someone answers my questions I link back to fluther, it takes me to my question but then cuts me off and puts me back in log in field. any suggestions?

That’s definitely not normal. Try clearing your cache (erase your history/cookies) and restarting your browser. See if that works.

Thanks but it didn’t work.

Hey Max just for shits and giggles try another computer and see if you have the same problem, because I haven’t had that problem at all.

Hi Sqeeky: My regular Asus was sent in for warranty repairs. I’ll have to ask the hubmeister to play admin again. I have a feeling its a setting but I’m an end user.

I have no idea why you’re experiencing this problem. I might be required to log in, maybe every 5–6 months it seems. Very rarely. Hmmm. Hope you can figure it out. :-(

I had that problem on my last iPhone but I don’t have it anymore.

It was those evil internet minions.
I only have to log in about once or twice a month. The password I use is one of the passwords I used in rotation back in 2011, so sometimes it takes a few tries to remember.

Well its still working and it wasn’t for days. I think Fluther Mods might have helped becausee I did not do anything at all!

Hallelujah

We can’t take the credit for that one, @MadMadMax, but I’m glad it’s working for you again!

Your browser isn’t storing cookies, so if you’re using “private browsing” or “incognito” mode, that would keep it from staying logged in.

Also if you have it set to erase history each time you close the browser, that would keep it from staying logged in.

What browser do you use for fluthering?
