Please look at TED Talks . You will find all kinds of things that interest you.
From thier description:
“TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a global set of conferences run by the private non-profit Sapling Foundation, under the slogan “Ideas Worth Spreading”.

Start with this TED playlist: Tech Breakthrough .

While watching and absorbing the content, also notice how skillfully the speaker grabs and maintains your interest. You can learn about public speaking and interacting with others by watching these masters. Enjoy!

By the way, as the saying goes: “It ain’t bragging if yo can back it up.” All the presentations are heavily vetting and peer reviewed.
Unless specifically stated what you see there is real, not photoshopped fantasies. When data is presented they will clearly state when it is from simulations.
Watch a couple and let us know what you think.

‘The Mother of All Demos’ is a name given retrospectively to Douglas Engelbart’s December 9, 1968, computer demonstration at the Fall Joint Computer Conference in San Francisco…

…The 90-minute presentation essentially demonstrated almost all the fundamental elements of modern personal computing: windows, hypertext, graphics, efficient navigation and command input, video conferencing, the computer mouse, word processing, dynamic file linking, revision control, and a collaborative real-time editor (collaborative work)...

…The demonstration was highly influential and spawned similar projects at Xerox PARC in the early 1970s. The underlying technologies influenced both the Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows graphical user interface operating systems in the 1980s and 1990s.”

@LuckyGuy I liked the trillion seconds slow motion camera that can see around corners. The other ones I don’t think I would like.

Did you see the one about reducing malaria by reducing the mosquito vector? They listen for the beating of female mosquito wings and shoot them out of the sky with a precisely focused laser. Males and other insects are not touched.
The slow motion, high speed, closeup videos of skeeters being shot from the sky are fantastic.

Look around. Pick some that you know nothing about. Let serendipity be your guide.
