I want to post a music video On YouTube and use my Windows Movie Maker. Is that possible? Does anyone know how I can get simple directions on how to do it if it is possible?

You don’t. Movie Maker is the most horrible video editing software ever. Google “free video editing windows” and you will find better programs. Do not bother with Movie Maker.

If you INSIST on using movie maker, you import clips. Then put them in a timeline.

You go to youtube, click submit to the right of the screen (make sure your logged in) and follow the instructions. Oh, to export your video, go to publish video in movie maker.

Redsgirl-

Hi, my name’s Cody, and I’m working with the Windows Media Outreach Team to help answer questions folks might have about their copies of Windows Movie Maker.

I found a great video tutorial that walks you through the basic steps you need to upload your video (and do some other cool stuff with it) onto YouTube. Here’s the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTLGGnSpf_k

It’s a little long, but it’s definitely interesting and worth the time. I hope it’s helpful!

Thanks,

Cody
