I’ll only tell you if you promise to feed us nekkid pancakes.

Nice people?

Frizzer had a long run, and [redacted] was pretty popular for the first few years I was here. But I think that pancake parties are probably the most durable.

It doesn’t hurt that it was Lisa’s favorite Fluther meme.

Hawaii_Jake's avatar

I’ll be the first to order these. And he can serve them to me.

chyna's avatar

@Hawaii_Jake He can serve them to me, too! Nekked pancakes will always remind me of Lisa.

@ucme and @ragingloli…..haha!

@Hawaii_Jake I prefer my pancakes dressed & this server nekkid!!! THANKS for a great night’s dream tonight!!! ;)

ucme's avatar

@KNOWITALL Wash your purdy lil mouth out with soapy water young lady, never again utter those names together you hear me? It’s a cardinal sin & you as a christian woman should damn well no better, get yourself off to confession & maybe i’ll forgive you just this one time ;-}

KNOWITALL's avatar

@ucme Yes sir, thank you sir, may I have another?! haha

You’re right, there’s a difference in styles, for sure.

ucme's avatar

Bother me sideways, with all this dash & nonsense I clean forgot to answer the bally question.
The ultimate “gag” has to be…err, well…gee I dunno, no wonder I didn’t answer then.

Tropical_Willie's avatar

^^^^^ I CIA what you did @filmfann ! ! ! ! !

RedDeerGuy1's avatar

Am I pregnant? Am I attractive? Questions come back every so often.

stanleybmanly's avatar

RDG has the gist of it ? Those magic 8 ball questions—does he like me? will he call me, be faithful, etc.?

SavoirFaire's avatar

In what way are those gags, let alone running gags?

RedDeerGuy1's avatar

@SavoirFaire they don’t. Just having fun.

stanleybmanly's avatar

You’re right. It’s wrong to poke fun at teenage angst even when it persists in my geriatric peers.

Hawaii_Jake's avatar

Does @stanleybmanly like me? If I wore a more realistic toupee, would he like me?

stanleybmanly's avatar

Depend on it! bmanly is impeccably superficial.

Zaku's avatar

Wow I never even heard of nekkid pancakes.

SavoirFaire's avatar

The pancake question is here. And for anyone interested in the early days of Fluther when a lot of our gags and conventions were still being created, @Nimis created this helpful timeline.

Hawaii_Jake's avatar

@SavoirFaire Thank you so much for the link to @Nimis’s timeline! I love the CIA question. Many questions had jellies that are truly missed.

raum's avatar

Someone needs to make a more up-to-date timeline!

(Only about 180,975 threads to comb through.)

Hawaii_Jake's avatar

@raum “Someone”?

raum's avatar

I call not me!

janbb's avatar

@raum You suggested it, you bought it!

raum's avatar

@janbb Is that kind of like
you smelt it, you dealt it?

raum's avatar

Doh.

What happened to the long honored tradition of calling ”Not me!”?

ucme's avatar

Ooh, just thought of another, sexual innuendo between the old women & crusty middle aged europeans

cookieman's avatar

Pancakes is my favorite running gag, but the Yarnpocolypse was my favorite one-time gag.

KNOWITALL's avatar

It wasn’t a long run, but the silly vampires here making accounts were pretty dang funny.

cookieman's avatar

^ Oh, I loved the vampires and had fun messing with them.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@cookieman Me too, I’ll try to find a few threads. I PM’d them a lot, too, crazy kids.

cookieman's avatar

@KNOWITALL: Aahh, I hope they grew up to be productive blood suckers. ;^)

YARNLADY's avatar

@cookieman yarnpocolypse me too
