Doggy has a growth on his mouth?

Asked by simone54 (7642points) January 4th, 2010

My roommate’s dog, a 4 year old Puggle, has some type of growth on his lip. It’s on his bottom lip, on the side, coming from the inside of his lip sticking out, it’s round, about 1 cm, looks like pink white raspberry, it doesn’t seem too painful when I touch it but it seem like he can feel it. Any ideas?

Get it checked by a vet ASAP. It could be benign, but if it isn’t, time is of the essence.

Agreed. A vet should definitely take a look at it. Is the dog having any trouble eating or drinking?

Check this site out there is a growth like you describe but either way it is safest to go to the vet
