Fiction about Marco Polo?

Asked by deepseas72 (1076points) March 3rd, 2008

I read a novel about a year ago. It was fiction based on the life and travels of Marco Polo. I can’t remember the title or author.

ccording to amazon.com, Lawrence bergrdeen wrote several books about him. There’s also his translated diary. I’m sure if you search amazon.com you’ll find what you’re looking for.

I searched amazon before I posed this question, and was unsuccessful.

Could it have been “Invisible Cities” by Italo Calvino? That is one of my favorite books.

I just read Invisible Cities—a fabulous book that features Marco Polo as the marvelous story teller. It is by Italo Calvino. What a treat is in store for you.

The one I read is called The Journeyer by Gary Jennings. Awesome book.
