Yes, but don’t tell the venture capitalists that. Actually, you’ve (from your description) have taken a very Buddhist stance to the idea of objects. IMO, it’s also the healthiest attitude towards the subject.

Get what you need and use it. Be happy with it. Everything else is just a distraction.

I doubt you’re totally free, but you’re more free than you were before. That’s called freedom from desire, versus freedom of desire. It could be said that you lost worldly freedom, but you gained spiritual freedom. It’s up to you to decide which one you value more and to what degree you’re free. I agree with @OperativeQ, it seems Buddhist.

Yes, absolutely, if giving up here is stop clinging on the things that constrain you such as those you have mentioned.

However, there are such things once you give up striving would not give you any freedom, but can possibly make it more difficult for you to enjoy your freedom in the future. I believe that these things are love (no selfish-love here), compassion, resillience, inner peace among many others.

Depends on what else you gave up. If you gave up on life than your in a different kind of prison.
However if your living off welfare because you feel society should just support you then its not about freedom but rather your looking for a way to justify laziness.

in my opinion that is impossible. if you give up doing everything. you would feel very boring.
