What are some good websites to help with physics and calc review?

Asked by nicky (210points) August 12th, 2010

I am starting General Physics with Calc 1 with concurrent enrollment in Calculus 2 in about a week and a half. I have a general physics and calc test this coming monday to qualify to take the class. I havent taken physics since highschool and it has been about a year since i passed calculus 1. Does anyone know a good website(s) that reviews entry level physics and calc 1 with possible example problems to practice with?

Try MIT’s OpenCourseware. Here’s the physics. They have calc and hundreds of other subjects as well.

Most colleges provide sample placement tests that you can buy for a few bucks in the bookstore. I would give them a call and ask. That will give you a good idea of the concepts on the test.

And check the website for your school. The Community College I started at even posts them online.

@lilikoi I wish I could give you 100 Great Answer votes. MIT OCW is the greatest ever for physics, mathematics, and most other subjects.
