Nope the bride now that you mention it. She’s not marrying the “BEST MAN”

LOL Hawkeye. Alittle. Maybe, ball and chain theory.

True. Isn’t a “groom” the person that takes care of the horses?

I love all the responses, lol. I certainly feel sorry for some grooms and brides – I just get a feeling theirs is a marriage that won’t work.

Whichever poor sucker…..I mean groom is marrying this, has my utmost sympathy.

Yes, handbrake theory!

I feel sorry for the future wife of the groom from @Seek_Kolinahr‘s answer, the horse one.
All the ‘jokes’ she is going to hear…

Nope. Probably the only one going to get laid that night.

Correction, the only one that does not need to.

Yeah, it’s not about him, at all. He just needs to show up. No one says “Doesn’t the groom look nice”, except maybe his mom.

Depends on the groom. I know some dudes who for certain should either have not married or not married the woman they married, but ain’t none of my business, so I kept my mouth shut, did the electric slide and ate the rubbery chicken dinners, OK?

@Frenchfry At my sister’s wedding, the groom’s friends literally put a ball and chain on his ankle. There’s a wonderful picture of my sister standing next to him holding up the chain while looking down at the ball.

No. The wedding can be his to if he chooses to participate in the planning. The last wedding I went to had a fantastic grooms cake, rectangular, icing design was a runway with blue lights at the end and everything. He had just finished becoming a pilot in the Airforce. He had just as much friends and family there as the bride. I think everyone there was focused on the couple, not just the bride.
